Biological Weapons Convention

Dear students,

we would like to bring your attention to the following event. In the aftermath of The Biological Weapons Convention (BTWC) organised by the United Nations, which started the 5th of December in Geneva, there will be a Dutch academic conference which discusses the outcomes of the BTWC. The post-BTWC conference will take place in The Hague on the 2nd of February. The conference will be attended by diplomats, representatives of NGO’s, various academics and many others. After the official conference, there will be a mixer open to all attendees.

To our great delight, Fortuna has been requested to ask LUC students to attend the post-BTWC conference in The Hague. This will be a great opportunity for interested students to gain insight on the hot topic of biological warfare and get to know all the present diplomats, academics and other attendees (who knows what’s in it for you!).
